Congratulations to Holly & Tony on the birth of their daughter Rose on Christmas day! They are all well and at home and we are all looking forward to meeting the new addition.
We would all like to send a big congratulations to Chantel who recently passed her veterinary nursing final exams and has joined the Royal College of Veterinary Nurses as a registered member. Chantel is keen to continue her studies and will be extending her skills into the area of rehabilitation. She can be seen here giving low level laser treatment to one of our patients before his underwater treadmill session. He really likes all the attention he gets when he comes in for his sessions
We are delighted that we have 2 new starters at the Ark. Alex has joined as a receptionist and Hannah is starting as a Trainee Vet Nurse after a few months helping out while she was finishing at NESCOT.
Congratulations to Holly on the birth of her daughter Evelyn. They are both well and at home and we are all looking forward to meeting the new addition.
We have had 3 new people join us at the Ark over the last few months. Deborah and Chloe are our new reception team, and Katie is starting as trainee nurse but will be helping out on reception as well. More details on the team page
We are delighted that Roma has just passed her final nursing exams and is now a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Caroline Speller joined us today as our first Practice Manager. She will be taking over all the non-clincal work from Sinead, which will allow Sinead to focus on the animals and the clinical side of the practice.
Maggie Castles has started today as a receptionist. Maggie will be responsible for the morning reception while Kim continues to work afternoons and Saturday morning.
We are delighted to announce that Holly Ellingham is joining Ark Vets as our new vet. Holly graduated from the London in 2009 and worked in mixed and small animal practice in Berkshire. She enjoys cycling in the Surrey Hills and is owned by a naughty ginger cat.
Sinead has become the owner of six chickens
- 2 Bovan Nera’s
- 2 Belle Blue/Haze
- 2 White Rangers
They have all settled well into their new purple home, and are laying well. They are also doing their best to eat their way through all the plants in the garden, and are providing hours of amusement for Orla (the border collie) who thinks controlling chickens is what she was born to do – some day we may introduce her to sheep!
