Thanks to our friends at The Arc Centre we had Giant Millipedes, Giant Snails and a Lizard for visitors to meet & greet…

 

We will put up lots of photos from the open day, but the star of the show has to be the meerkat family…

On Friday we had a CPD (Continuing Professional Development)  meeting with the Tour de Vet team in aid of Cat’s Protection. They talked about anesthesia and how to make the practise more cat friendly – more on that later in the year.

The 5th Birthday Party/Open Day was a great success, and we raised £262 for Epsom Canine Rescue and Epsom Cats Protection. Everyone one enjoyed the competitions and the winners were

The face painting went down very well

Sinead, in association with Imber Court Dog Training, organised the Dottie Dog Show at the Charity Gala Weekend organised by Woodies Freehouse, New Malden. Everyone joined in and the Fairy won the Best Dress Dog

Ark Vets held a Doggy Olympic competition on Saturday 26th April in support of National Pet Month. Lots of animals entered all five events, and the money raised went to a local charity.

The Ark Vets Summer Fete on 9th September was a great success, with dog displays, birds of prey, and lots more. We raised over £400 for Animal Lifeline (Surrey) so a big thanks to everyone who turned up.
